Get tutorial videos about various disciplines of marketing, sales styles and methodologies, and even get a live person to chat through the issues with…all for one low monthly price! Our goal is not to replace the need for using a consultant but to give you the knowledge to understand what they’re telling you needs to be done. You make a more educated, informed decision about your business rather than taking someone’s word for it!

We started Smarketing Institute about 3 years ago with the notion that small business owners often have a hard time determining if they need sales help or marketing help. Not knowing that understanding where to start is key to the success of any sales & marketing program. Some think they need one or the other and oftentimes they need both but can only afford one consultant. With that in mind we set out to educate smaller business owners about the differences, with the intent to help them determine their own needs. The task seemed so daunting and huge that we changed course and decided to create a one-stop-shop, an aggregate point of reference for all things sales and marketing that business owners could get to for free. All the blogs, white papers, tutorials, Podcasts, ect. were free for the business owner to digest, to educate themselves. We then built a directory of professionals willing and able to jump in to help (for hire, of course) the owner if they got in over their heads.

 

Now comes the full circle…

 

After building a vast database of professionals and attracting a substantial list of owners to our community we decided to go back to our roots and build an educational piece to Smarketing. We reinvigorated Smarketing Institute with the idea that now we can truly educate the business owner but NOT to eliminate the need for hiring a consultant, but so that we’re all better informed when making impactful decisions about our sales and marketing programs. 

 

We plan to make sure anyone who joins our community can with certainty have a conversation with a sales and/or marketing consultant with confidence!
